Prior to founding Bailey Investments Group in 2017, Tim provided professional guidance in financial planning to individuals and business in southwest Michigan, Chicago, Indiana, and throughout the southeast region of the United States.  The inspiration for beginning Bailey Investments was a long road which started at Ameriprise Financial Advisors in 2005.  While here Tim learned the invaluable foundations and intricacies of the financial planning profession. 

Continuing his career, he was recruited by Natcity Investments. Here, he continued to utilize his skill set to better each client’s situation until 2007.  From there Huntington Investment Company recruited him as a personal financial advisor and 401k advisor.  Over the next three years Tim enhanced and expanded the company’s relationship with the people of southwest Michigan.  He was also able to expand Huntington’s client and 401k relationships into the Carolinas.  Huntington’s trust department leveraged Tim’s skill to articulate companies 401k and benefits package to employees that created greater employee loyalty and participation until 2010. 

It was in 2010 that Tim’s next career opportunity presented itself. He was brought on by Fifth/third Securities to grow their client base.  Tim was able to help professionalize their financial planning strategies as an advisor. 

Then, in 2013 Flagstar Investments depended upon Tim to bring the stability and growth of his financial practice to their southwest Michigan territory.   While here he was responsible for growing client relationships and expanding their program.  Also, he built advising and program strategies with bank employees, managers, executives, and colleagues.  Tim Bailey took that territory from an unknown to one of the most successful investment territories in the company.  It was through his experiences at Flagstar and previous firms that Tim began to set his sights on something bigger and better for his clients. 

His visions became a reality in 2017 with the development of Bailey Investments Group. Through the support of his family, community, and clients; coupled with his experience, knowledge, and professionalism the practice began to take shape.  Tim is inspired to reflect great credit upon his colleagues and uphold the highest standards of the financial planning profession.  The devotion to these ideals is what drives Tim to always better the clients’ situation. 

In 2018 Tim acquired his office building located in Texas Corners, MI.  While completing the building Tim was also busy servicing his clients as well as the community.  The doors opened in 2019 and his vision for Bailey Investments Group continues to grow every day.
